“Dita Von Teese launches her intoxicating global campaign for her luxury lingerie line”
Muse and style icon, Dita Von Teese brings a new vibrancy to her lingerie collection with the launch of her Spring Summer 2015 Dita Von Teese lingerie range.
Taking style cues from the 1940’s,1950’s and 1960’s Dita has reinterpreted classic vintage styles that are pretty, elegant and sexy for a woman’s every day or special occasion needs.
Award winning New York photographer Erik Madigan Heck, famous for his works with Rodarte, Mary Katrantzou, Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Rochas and Kenzo worked collaboratively with the burlesque star to capture an alluring and powerful campaign.
Madigan Heck is best known for his fashion photographs and intimate portraits, blurring photographic elements with digital techniques. The result from the New York shoot is breathtaking and captures Dita Von Teese as every bit the feminine ideal and style icon. Art directed and conceptualised by Dita herself this campaign presents Dita as never before.
Acclaimed photographer Erik Madigan Heck says shooting Dita Von Teese was a career highlight, “It was an enormous honour to shoot the burlesque star and style icon and depict her in a new light, she was an inspiration to work with,” he said.
The Autumn Winter [Australia] collection features a range of standout styles including a new addition, the seductive Glorified Girl collection inspired by vintage 1960’s lingerie where lace and attention to trim detail was so important. The collection uses French lace, Swarovski crystals, velvet bows and ribbon slot trims to wonderful effect, featuring lace padded cups and a lace front tummy panel which conceals a panel of control mesh.
By popular demand Dita has continued her fuller figure designs that appeal to all Dita’s global fans with additions for women up to a size 20 and F cups in certain styles.
The collection features bold saturated colour and attention to fine detail with the Madame X in new season colour Electric Fluoro Pink and Star Lift in Turquoise Blue as well as a repeat of favourites Marlene Savoir Faire and Starlift available in an assortment of styles such as underwire and full figure bras, corsolettes, suspenders, high waisted full briefs and revealing bikini bottoms.
This inspiring collection channels femininity and is designed to appeal to the woman who enjoys vintage lingerie and pin up designs with the finest quality finishes.
